Thirty-eight students enrolled Jan. 4, 2010, in the DPT program in the Department of Physical Therapy Education. Their enrollment marks Elon’s eighth class of DPT students.

Students in Elon's Interactive Media master's program will soon be flashing their passports and traveling to foreign countries as part of their Winter Term fly-in experience. The entire inaugural class has been broken up into four groups, each of which will be led by a faculty member in the School of Communications.

Michael Kingston, associate professor of biology and environmental studies, has published a research paper, "Growth and Motility of the Diatom Cylindrotheca closterium: Implications for Commercial Applications."

Two ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students, juniors Christina Cooper and Qiao-Yi Joy Zhou, have been awarded Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships to help fund their Spring 2010 semester study abroad experiences.
