ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë journalism student Samantha Baranowski placed seventh in the Hearst Journalism Awards Program's Television Broadcast Features Competition I.
Baranowski, who was the only ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë student to place in the top 10 in this particular competition, is an anchor and reporter for Phoenix14News, Elon’s weekly student newscast. Last year, she was named a national semifinalist in the Hearst Broadcast News Competition.
