ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students are going to Allied Churches in Burlington to learn more about the issues of hunger and homelessness and to make challah (traditional Jewish braided bread) with the residents and staff of Allied Churches.

The Nov. 8 event, part of ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë’s yearlong quasquicentennial celebration, kicked off this year’s Homecoming Weekend festivities with the recognition of seven distinguished alumni.

Seven outstanding alumni were recognized for their professional success, community engagement and loyal support of Elon at a Nov. 8 ceremony that is part of Elon's Homecoming celebrations.
