Elon held a ceremonial steel beam signing to honor donors and celebrate the new academic facilities now being constructed for the School of Communications Under the Oaks.

Faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy Education at ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë are looking for healthy, non-disabled research volunteers aged 18-30 to participate in a research study looking at wheelchair propulsion speed.  

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë School of Law presented Leslie J. Winner, executive director of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, with the Law School’s highest professional honor, the Leadership in the Law Award, recognizing Winner’s significant contributions to law, the legal profession and society. Elon Law Dean Luke Bierman presented the award in Charlotte, N.C. at a luncheon forum attended by lawyer-leaders from across North Carolina.

Odyssey Scholar and ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë sophomore Barang Phuk will attend the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting in New York City this weekend to advocate for tuition-free schools in her home nation of Cambodia.

Faculty and staff,  who have dependents planning to enroll in college in fall 2016 and want to take advantage of Tuition Exchange, need to contact human resources by Monday, Oct. 5.

The elementary education graduate was one of 10 Atlanta educators honored for improving student achievement and student self-esteem in and out of the classroom.
