Jen Hamel co-authors peer-reviewed article naming and describing two new species of katydids in North Carolina

The article shares findings from empirical research describing the morphology and calls of two previously undescribed katydid (insect) species in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The work was done by collaborators from UNC-Asheville, the College of Coastal Georgia and ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë, and the article appears in the "Journal of Orthoptera Research."

Elon Law students meet with N.C. Attorney General Jeff Jackson

North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson shared priorities and perspectives on ethics and the rule of law with Elon Law students in Greensboro and Charlotte. Professor David Levine arranged the meeting through his work with Jackson’s office on AI regulations.

Community Partnerships Initiative grant sustains community and global engagement with Chimwemwe Children’s Centre

A Community Partnerships Initiative (CPI) grant is supporting collaboration between ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students in COR 4430: Poverty and Social Justice and the Chimwemwe Children’s Centre in Malawi. Through sharing educational resources, students engage in cross-cultural learning about poverty while working to advance social justice in Baluti Village.
