Evan A. Gatti, an assistant professor in the Department of Art and Art History, presented "The Bishop's Two Bodies and the Image In-Between" at the Midwest Art History Society's annual conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 15.

conference, College Art Association, in New York.

Assistant professor Evan Gatti presented “A Bishop’s Blessing on the Border or In-between: The Frontispiece in the Benedictional of Engilmar” at the May 27-30 conference Bishop Saints and Saintly Bishops sponsored by Hagiotheca and the Hagiography Society in Porec, Croatia.

A recent special issue of Peregrinations features articles on Ottonian art and architecture, and was guest-edited by Evan Gatti of ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë.

Assistant Professor Evan A. Gatti will give a paper titled “Images on the Edge and ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë the Center: “Ottonian” Art in Northern Italy” in a session titled "Art History on the Edge: Art and Architecture in the Provinces of the Medieval World(s)" at the International Congress on Medieval Studies on May 13 in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Michael Fels, associate professor of art, and Rick Earl, technical director for Cultural and Special Programs, are exhibiting collaborative painting machines at Visual Art Exchange in Raleigh, North Carolina.
