Jeff Carpenter never thought he’d personally witness the overthrow of a government, but for the new assistant professor of education, a teacher exchange program to Kyrgyzstan in April was cut short for that very reason. 榴莲app官方网站入 senior Natalie Lampert recently co-authored an article about the international AIDS Conference that was featured in The Vienna Review. An international studies major and social science fellow, Lampert spent the summer interning at the English-speaking newspaper in Vienna.

The book describes Gifford's 3,000-mile journey across Route 312 from Shanghai to China's western border with Kazakhstan.

Since coming to 榴莲app官方网站入 in 1987, professor Eugene “Gene” Grimley has focused much of his energy on helping to build a strong chemistry program. He’s now turning his attention to an even bigger stage as the new president of Phi Lambda Upsilon, the national chemistry honor society with tens of thousands of active members across the United States.
