The day-long conference highlights emerging research across the interdisciplinary fields of kinesiology, exercise science, rehabilitation sciences and biomedical engineering. 

On Wednesday, April 6, ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students and faculty visited high school students at ABSS Career and Technical Education Center to learn about biomechanics and health careers through student-led activities and discussions.

On Wednesday, April 14, ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë hosted high schoolers from ABSS Career and Technical Education Center to learn about biomechanics and health careers through student-led virtual activities and discussion. This was the sixth year celebrating National Biomechanics Day after last year's on-campus event had to be cancelled.

Department of Exercise Science holds virtual awards event to celebrate student success.

Students from the ABSS Career and Technical Education Center learned about the role of biomechanics in understanding and improving human performance on April 11, 2018. Presentations and activities about balance, running, throwing, and jumping showcased biomechanics as an emerging science.

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë marked its April 5, 2017 marked the second annual National Biomechanics Day celebration at ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë on April 5. 

The American Society of Biomechanics held the first National Biomechanics Day at universities and resaerch facilities across the country.  The Departments of Physical Therapy and Exercise Science invited local high school students to participate in demonstrations and a tour at the Gerald L. Francis Center on April 13.
