Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment Registration Ends Dec. 12

Students interested in joining a Panhellenic sorority must register by Friday, Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. No late registrations will be accepted. Panhellenic recruitment will take place Jan. 27 – Feb. 1, 2015. Interested in learning more about a potential Latina sorority on-campus? Don’t miss these two opportunities to meet with representatives of Corazones Unidos Siempre/Chi Upsilon Sigma Latin Sorority, Inc. on Monday, April 7.

A reception will be held from 3:45 – 4:30 pm, in Hispanic/Latino(a) Resource Room, Moseley 209, and the group will make a formal presentation about their organization at 5:30 pm in Moseley 215

Greek Dance General Admission Tickets Available

Elon’s annual Greek Week Dance competition is Wednesday, April 9 at 8 pm in Alumni Gym. A limited number of general admission tickets are now available in the Greek Life office, Moseley 224. Tickets are $5 apiece and may be purchased in the office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday. All proceeds go to Elonthon. Doors open at 7:30 pm. Formal sorority recruitment is Tuesday, January 28 – Sunday, February 2, 2014. All nine of our values based Panhellenic sororities participate in a structured process that is governed by their national organizations. Interested in learning more about a Jewish fraternity? – Nov. 12-15

Interested in learning more about three historically founded Jewish fraternities? The Interfraternity Council is planning to add another group and has invited three organizations to present to campus about the goals and values of their organizations.

Presentations will be 30-45 minutes with an opportunity for questions to follow. National representatives from these organizations, and likely area alumni, will be presenting. These sessions are open to ANY groups.

Monday, November 12 – Alpha Epsilon Pi, Lindner 208 at 7 pm
Wednesday, November 14 – Zeta Beta Tau, McEwen 011 at 7 pm
Thursday, November 15 – Sigma Alpha Mu, Lindner 102 at 7 pm

Kappa Delta Sorority is joining the Greek community this spring! We are currently recruiting women to join Kappa Delta. Stop by Moseley Center Table, February 9-17, from 11- 2 p.m., to learn more information about the colonization process, and to register for the recruitment weekend being held on Feb. 18-20.

Kappa Delta is committed to preparing its members to be independent thinkers by fostering lasting bonds which encourage a culture of integrity, self-reliance, and collegiality and instill a sense of responsibility for each other and for the broader world. In short, we believe Kappa Delta makes great things happen. Our members come from all cultures and walks of life, and each adds her unique and lasting mark on the sorority and the world around her. Kappa Deltas are leaders on campus, in the community and in their fields of study.

Panhellenic Council is adding a ninth sorority! The selected new group will be looking for first-year through senior women who are interested in being part of colonizing a chapter of the national organization here at Elon. The three finalists will be on campus presenting over the next two weeks. If you’re interested in hearing about these organizations, their values and what they will bring to ��app�ٷ��վ��, please plan to attend their public presentations. Everyone who attends will have a chance to provide feedback to the selection committee.
