The media arts and entertainment major was pulled on camera on Aug. 12, 2015, by television host Michelle Beadle, who presented him with a cake and called him “easily one of our top five interns in ‘SportsNation’ history.”

Conor Britain '09 G'10, an interactive designer at RED Interactive Agency, spoke with members of this year's Master of Arts in Interactive Media program, highlighting his experiences on campus and his professional path.

The associate professor of communications will provide the public relations publication with content on strategic communications topics including advocacy and writing. 

Seventeen faculty members served on panels, presented research and received honors at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication 2015 national convention.

The graduate program, which features a unique partnership between the university's business and communications schools, welcomes 18 students in its inaugural class.

The journalism and history double major will begin the Hearst Corporation’s two-year program in August, assigned to the San Antonio Express-News.

As part of the inaugural class of the Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship, the media arts and entertainment graduate is producing a documentary highlighting the lives of two San men. 

As part of her Plank Center Educators Fellowship, the assistant professor of communications visited H+K Strategies in Tampa, Florida, interviewing employees, participating in internal and external meetings, and attending a digital/social media boot camp.

The School of Communications assistant professor authored a guest blog for the Arthur W. Page Center for Integrity in Public Communication, discussing her research and how public relations professionals can enhance media relationships in times of crisis.
