Elon’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the honorary organization for financial information students and professionals, was awarded “Gold chapter” status during the national organization’s annual conference this month in Denver. Elon was one of seven chapters to achieve the honor, which is the highest award level a chapter can receive.

����app�ٷ���վ�� chaplain emeritus Richard McBride, Elon trustee Dr. William N.P Herbert ’68 and retired vice president Nan Perkins received Elon Medallions on Aug. 22, 2011, in an annual ceremony that celebrates the highest honor the university bestows on individuals for their meritorious service to the institution.

Town & Country, the oldest continually published general interest magazine in the United States, picked ����app�ٷ���վ�� in an 11-page feature story on top colleges in the September 2011 issue. The top colleges were recommended to the magazine by counselors at dozens of private high schools across the country.

The best and brightest of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business were honored April 14, 2011, in an afternoon awards ceremony that highlighted the achievements of both students and faculty.

Thirty-nine students in the Master of Education program received their ����app�ٷ���վ�� degrees Saturday morning in a Commencement ceremony featuring a keynote address from professor Judith Howard, the longtime director of the education graduate program who retires this month after serving the university since 1993 as a teacher, researcher and mentor.
