Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley emailed highlights on Sept. 8 to help students stay informed and prepare for the week ahead.

This fall's series of Tectonic Plates: Alamance County's Science Café events will feature scientists from the State Crime Lab at the N.C. Department of Justice. The events are the second Tuesday of each month at Burlington Beer Works in downtown Burlington.

Tayo Sanders — a scientist, investor and co-founder of Arrowpoint Labs — will deliver “Reimagining Drug Discovery and Manufacturing: Engineering a Path Towards Affordability” on Monday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. in McCrary Theatre.

The university is offering and supporting a range of events and activities leading up to and following Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The events included hands-on interactive activities explaining body mechanics to third-grade students at the Alamance Community School in Haw River.

Over 270 student organizations gathered on Young Commons on Aug. 29 to connect with 1,000 students.
