ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë recognizes the 10 staff members who are retiring after years of dedicated service to the campus community.

The staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university at a May 31 awards program during the annual staff day celebration.

By their very design, commencement ceremonies at ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë have an easy flow, but look closer into the planning of these celebrations and you will find hundreds of Elon and community members playing their role and delivering their assignments to perfection.

Jan Register, administrative assistant in the Truitt Center for Religious & Spiritual Life, writes about the legacy of her father, who served as chaplain at Elon for a decade, and the work of Jasper Myers '24 to honor his work.

President Connie Ledoux Book shared with the university community about the unexpected loss of Monte Markley, a community service officer with Campus Safety and Police, on Saturday, May 18.

The new center for children will offer care and early childhood development for infants, toddlers and two-year-olds of Elon faculty, staff and students and will be managed by child care provider Vivvi.

During the 2023-24 fiscal year, faculty and staff gave more than $380,000 to support ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students

Associate Professor of Management Brian Lyons and Professor of Chemistry Joel Karty were recognized for their contributions to their fields and the university community during the Faculty/Staff Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, May 14.

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë celebrates 23 faculty and staff retiring between 2023 and 2024.

These four awards recognize members of the Elon community for excellence in teaching, scholarship, civic engagement and mentoring.
