Marcelline Nyiramagaju received asylum in the United States after fleeing violence in her native Democratic Republic of Congo. On June 2, 2016, with assistance from Elon Law's Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic, Nyiramagaju embraced two daughters for the first time in years.

Lecturer Hal Vincent’s “Strategic Research Methods” course took classroom theory and applied it in a real-world setting to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and economic sustainability in Alamance County. 

The sophomore physics major gave a podium presentation at the University of Maryland, College Park on Irreversible Electroporation (IRE), an emerging cancer therapy. 

Journalism students paced ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë in a prestigious national contest often called the "Pulitzers of college journalism," which is open to students from 100 accredited schools.

Marissa Kuzbyt L'16 accepted ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë School of Law's highest honor at May's Commencement when she received the 2016 David Gergen Award for Leadership & Professionalism.

The spring 2016 graduate from Washington, D.C., began a two-year term on the Board of Trustees June 1.
