A daylong gathering on ����app�ٷ���վ��'s campus included a campus tour for the guests from Queens as well as a series of roundtable discussions.

����app�ٷ���վ�� President Connie Ledoux Book and Queens University of Charlotte Acting President Jesse Cureton describe in campus messages on Oct. 23, 2025, how "our colleagues are forming new bonds and reaffirming the values that unite us: student-centered learning, a commitment to academic excellence and a deep history of advancing our communities."

Listening sessions, town halls and a feedback form have generated hundreds of comments and ideas that inspire the administrators creating a formal agreement to unify resources and expand student learning opportunities at both institutions. 

Common themes emerged from families on both campuses who attended sessions for those seeking to learn more about the universities' strategic and student-centered intent to merge.

Guided by ����app�ٷ���վ�� Senior Vice President Jim Piatt and Queens University President Emerita Pamela Davies, key administrators from both universities will convene weekly in October to identify options that build community, support students, and honor the histories of both campuses in the lead-up to an official merger.

For the fifth year in a row, ����app�ٷ���վ�� tops a “Best Undergraduate Teaching” list published by U.S. News & World Report, while the university was ranked among the top 10 in the nation in every category that comprises “Programs that Enhance Student Experience.”

For the second consecutive year, the university has been recognized by Insight Into Academia, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education, for its commitment to academic excellence, belonging, and community building.

����app�ٷ���վ�� is welcoming a new class of students on Friday, Aug. 22. With the incoming students, Elon will now have representation from all 50 states.

The 2026 edition of "The Best 391 Colleges" ranks ����app�ٷ���վ�� among the nation’s “Best-Run Colleges” while showcasing its career services, performing arts productions, residential facilities, dining options and intramural sports opportunities.

The popular college guide’s “Best Law Schools for 2025” includes Elon Law and student praise for its innovative, skills-based curriculum and exceptional faculty and staff.
