����app�ٷ���վ�� seniors Meg Anderson and Charley Costa won top honors last weekend at the 2010 Russ Berrie Institute National Sales Challenge at William Paterson University in New Jersey. Their achievements marked the second time in a month that students from the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business finished first in a national competition that attracted teams from some of the nation's leading business programs.

The debut of Colonnades C, D and E – now named Kivette Hall, William W. Staley Hall and William A. ����app�ٷ���վ�� President Leo M. Lambert announced this week a special campus initiative to collect and distribute school supplies to hundreds of homeless children in Alamance County and to children at a school in Afghanistan who struggle for access to basic educational materials.

Town & Country, the oldest continually published general interest magazine in the United States, picked ����app�ٷ���վ�� in an 11-page feature story on top colleges in the September 2011 issue. The top colleges were recommended to the magazine by counselors at dozens of private high schools across the country.

They look and feel the same as the caps and gowns used in previous ceremonies, but when candidates for ����app�ٷ���վ��’s Master of Education participate in their Aug. 20, 2011, Commencement exercises, as part of the university’s sustainability commitment, their regalia contained fabric made from 100 percent recycled plastic bottles.

����app�ٷ���վ��'s chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity has been named one of the best in the nation and was recently recognized by the national organization with the Buchanan Cup, an award that showcases outstanding chapter performance and named for former fraternity grand president Edwin Buchanan.

Elon junior Carter Kozak, a computing sciences major, earned one of 100 competitively awarded student positions at the International TeraGrid Conference held July 18-21 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
