Alumni, parents and friends are invited to an Evening for Elon on April 16 at the Chicago History Museum

Ashley Joines L’24 received the David Gergen Award for Leadership & Professionalism at Commencement exercises for the Class of 2024 where she was lauded for doing “everything in her power to help all those around her.”

The Hon. Carrie F. Ricci, General Counsel of the United States Army, delivered a Commencement address to the ����app�ٷ���վ�� School of Law Class of 2024 in which she emphasized the importance of personal relationships, working hard, and kindness.

Elizabeth “Liz” Kwon L’23 will be the first alumna of an Elon graduate program to serve a two-year term on the governing board that advances the university’s mission by overseeing its health, strategic direction, educational policy, and finances and operations.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Shavonn Bennette L’17 has built a career prosecuting violent offenders at both the state and federal levels, and her Call to Honor charge on August 6, 2024, to new Elon Law full-time students was clear: ‘Always trust your gut.’

Support for scholarships and experiential learning opportunities grew at one of its fastest annual rates in a decade in 2023-2024 with the percentage of alumni who made charitable gifts to Elon Law nearly doubling and overall donations up 60%.

A May swearing-in ceremony hosted by the Greensboro Bar Association inside the Old Guilford County Courthouse offered graduates a moment to celebrate and reflect on achieving their dreams of serving others as North Carolina attorneys. 

New members of the nation's oldest multidisciplinary honor society for academic excellence and service were installed in an April 23 ceremony.

Her ability throughout law school to balance several roles - student, mentor, prosecutorial intern, mother - earned Samantha Hepler L’23 the highest honor bestowed on a member of each graduating class from ����app�ٷ���վ�� School of Law.

Students in the Class of 2023 who recognize an African ancestry gathered the day before Commencement for family and friends to share pride in their achievements.
