Tectonic Plates: Alamance County’s Science Café announces events for Fall 2025 semester

Gammon and Elon alum Gabbi Resh '17 published their research in the journal Behaviour and in a YouTube video.

The article shares findings from empirical research describing the morphology and calls of two previously undescribed katydid (insect) species in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The work was done by collaborators from UNC-Asheville, the College of Coastal Georgia and ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë, and the article appears in the "Journal of Orthoptera Research."

The 2025–26 academic year is officially underway at ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë, starting with the Opening Day ceremony on Aug. 18 in Alumni Gym.
