Students learned how to become community leaders in a program that was made possible through the Center for Leadership and their community partners.

The spring Elon graduate is honored by the international nonprofit organization for his work to create positive media images of black men and other minority groups.

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students and one staff member were recognized for their accomplishments at an April 28, 2016, program that highlights campus leaders.

The noted authority on college sports visited with Elon Law Leadership Fellows and the Sports & Entertainment Law Society during his visit to campus for the Distinguished Leadership Lecture Series.

The nationally acclaimed ESPN college basketball commentator and graduate of Duke Law visited ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë School of Law for the final installment of the 2015-16 Distinguished Leadership Lecture Series presented by The Joseph M. Bryan Foundation.

The award provides students with $10,000 to research and understand problems of interest to them and then use their leadership abilities to test potential solutions.

Visits to Birmingham, Selma and Atlanta culminated with ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students meeting Martin Luther King III, the oldest son of the slain civil rights leader, and King III's wife, Arndrea Waters King.

Laith al-Majali '05 is part of a team that has earned the nation of Jordan its first ever Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.
