Several ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë graduates were recognized in the North Carolina Press Association’s 2016 News, Editorial and Photojournalism Contest, the centerpiece of the association’s annual Winter Institute.

In addition to receiving a service award at the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association’s annual event, the assistant professor of sport and event management hosted a preconference workshop and presented an educational session.

Molly Bauer ’19 and Heather Deiner ’19, accompanied by Associate Professor Amanda Sturgill, traveled to the University of Oklahoma March 3-4 to present their respective research topics.

Seventy-five high school seniors interested in studying communications visited ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë during Fellows Weekend, held March 3-4. Following a competitive selection process, 25 students will be named 2017 Communications Fellows.
