The assistant professor of sport and event management traveled to New Orleans in late February to present at the Sport and Recreation Law Association’s annual conference.

Nearly two-dozen ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, for a March 15 conference to hear from marketing professionals and industry leaders. 

The College Media Association honored the student news organization with an Apple Award, and a School of Communications staff member and alumnus offered presentations at the convention.

Winners will know if their work will enter the national contest in April.

Supported by ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë’s Fund for Excellence, “Re: view” is a collaborative project incorporating students, faculty and staff from the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Communications.

Senior journalism major Gary Grumbach and Kate Murphy '15 were both honored in the same multimedia competition.

Professor and author Danielle Keats Citron delivered the spring keynote address Thursday night in Elon's Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Lecture program, which aims to promote healthy relationships between young men and women and prevent domestic violence.
