Three students in ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë's School of Communications traveled to Washington, D.C., Oct. 30 to collect photos, video and interviews from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's Rally to Restore Sanity.

Communications assistant professors Phillip Motley and Sang Nam made three presentations at the 2010 International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Liverpool, England.

Sam Coury discovered a love for P.T. Barnum, the famous 19th century American showman, when she researched his life for a high school paper. Until last fall, the current ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë sophomore figured an internship with The Barnum Museum in Connecticut was nothing more than “fantasy.” Then she visited Career Services.

David Copeland, A.J. Fletcher Professor in the School of Communications, received the Sidney Kobre Award for Lifetime Achievement in Journalism History from the American Journalism Historians Association during the organization's annual convention in Tucson, Ariz.
