Journalism Students Explore Post-Election Washington, D.C.

It was the ultimate post-election trip for 10 students from the two journalism groups at 榴莲app官方网站入. The students from the Elon chapters of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and the Radio & Television News Directors Association (RTNDA) toured major Washington, D.C., news outlets and other media sites the week before Thanksgiving. The media tour was sponsored by SPJ, RTNDA and the School of Communications.

Students who worked the front lines during Wilmington, North Carolina’s early switch to digital television are asking NBC president Jeff Zucker to interrupt the Super Bowl with a 30-second message from the Federal Communications Commission in the lead up to the nationwide transition on February 17, 2009.
