Slated to miss Elon’s May 24 commencement exercises due to the CAA Baseball Championship in Virginia, seniors on the Elon baseball team participated in a special early graduation ceremony Wednesday afternoon.

Family, friends and Elon faculty and staff gathered on May 22 with the 28 students in the Master of Arts in Interactive Media program's Class of 2019 to celebrate their completion of the program. 

Six members of the Class of 2019 participated in a signing ceremony in Clohan Theatre to formalize their participation in two service-year programs offered by ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë in partnership with local organizations. Six fellows who have completed their year of service were also recognized. 

Sponsored by the Office of Alumni Engagement and the Office of the Provost, the annual event offers a chance for seniors, faculty and staff to gather heading into Commencement. 

Elon's Commencement ceremonies this week will be streamed live.

The stretch of East Haggard Avenue that runs through Elon's campus will close at 7 p.m. on May 23 and reopen at 9 p.m. on May 24.
