Four female professionals, including Elon alumna Amber Smith ’14, will share advice and experience with ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students from 6:30- 8 p.m. Wed., March 13, in McKinnon Hall.

Agyemang turned a newfound passion for game design and immersive technologies into an app that lets Greensboro Science Center visitors tour the solar system as part of its new Solar Hike exhibit.

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce the recipients of the 12th annual Diversity and Inclusion Grants for the 2023-24 academic year. Since 2011, this grant program has supported small faculty teams in developing projects focused on inclusive pedagogies, assignments, content and strategies to foster learning about human diversity.

Blending math, biology, computer science and engineering, four undergraduates and their mentor, Hwayeon Ryu, are developing a mathematical model in a three-year, $300,000 project funded by the National Science Foundation. In the process, they’re finding their future paths.

A different scientist will present each month at Burlington Beer Works in downtown Burlington.

The event was planned by Elon's leadership team overseeing a six-year, $377,800 grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute to transform first-year STEM experiences and promote belonging in STEM programs among historically underrepresented groups.

Satko's Campus Conscious system, recycling plastic bottles into 3D printing filament linked to an online rewards app, won this year's Elon Innovation Challenge.

The university's top undergraduate research award comes with $20,000 to support and celebrate academic and creative achievements.
