A strategic communications and international studies major conducted research on global internet leaders' plans to reach everyone, everywhere. 

David L. Wyrick ’94, Stuart E.Y. Richie ’10 (in absentia) and Maurice “Don” Owens ’95 were honored with the 2016 Elon College Distinguished Alumni Awards during a special April 28 ceremony.

A chemistry major conducted research that could allow future researchers to improve paints and plastics, make cheaper rubber and reduce greenhouse gases.

A statistics and economics double major conducted research on the effects of armed conflicts on the incidence rates of infectious diseases.

Held at 8:00 pm in the Station at Mill Point Depot Building.
