Parsons joined the ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë administration 13 years ago as the founding dean of the School of Communications.

Students in the 10-month, full-time master's program have varied backgrounds from across the United States.

Twenty faculty members served on panels, presented research and received honors for their academic work.

A team of students, faculty, and alumni from ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë's School of Communications spent a week in June in Ekaterinburg, Russia, covering the 2014 International Collegiate Programming Contest in video, photo, social media and text. 

MJ Jacobsen, senior vice president of communications for the National Geographic Society, challenged the 38 “digital natives” in the Interactive Media Class of 2014 to never be complacent about learning new things.

Students Ashley Gilmer and Reggie Peterson represented Elon's Interactive Media program on the May 21 morning newscast.

Students in ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë's Interactive Media master's program will show off the work they've done this semester in their capstone courses at the Interactive Media Exhibition at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 on the second and third floors of Powell.

The school hosted its annual awards ceremony May 6 to honor high achievement from faculty and students in the last year.

The Elon graduate program and a Communications associate professor discussed the unique 10-month master's experience.
