Dedicated spaces for reflection and lactation now allow for faith-based student groups, nursing parents, and anyone in need of contemplative solitude to make use of quiet areas at ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë’s downtown Greensboro campus.

A series of events coordinated by the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education will celebrate Black History Month at Elon.

The National Day of Racial Healing was founded in 2017 by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The first event on Elon's campus was held as a part of the events in commemoration of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. at Elon.

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë’s School of Law and School of Health Sciences celebrated the pride and heritage of students who recognize their African roots in a Commencement eve program filled with laughs, cheers, and many boxes of tissues for the tears of joy of both graduates and their guests.

The Power and Place Collaborative's second collection of digital stories documenting the lives of Alamance County's Black community premiered Dec. 4 and are available at its website and through the African American Cultural Arts and History Center.

The Power and Place Collaborative is a partnership between ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë, Burlington's Mayco Bigelow Center, and the African American Cultural Arts and History Center. Students interviewed community members and edited their oral histories into short videos.

Battles, vice president of global diversity, inclusion and engagement for Pitney Bowes, discussed the current state and importance of DEI in the workplace to the Elon community on Nov. 9.

As part of their sophomore Periclean coursework, members of the Periclean Scholars Class of 2024 created interactive exercises and discussion questions related to the Common Reading, and worked with fellow ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students as peer-educators to facilitate engagement with this text.
