Elle Collins currently guides the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program at the University of Florida and will join ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë in April as executive director of a campus office that helps students from all backgrounds thrive in higher education.

Jonathan A. McElderry, dean of student inclusive excellence at ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë, has officially begun his term as the 86th president of ACPA – College Student Educators International. In his opening address, he outlined his vision, emphasizing mentorship, representation and advocacy.

The Center for Race, Ethnicity, and Diversity Education will coordinate a series of events at Elon to celebrate Black History Month.

The National Day of Racial Healing will include a community building and healing luncheon, followed by a documentary screening and panel discussion.

An annual fundraiser co-hosted by students in the Department of Performing Arts and ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë’s Gender & LGBTQIA Center will take place Jan. 15.

Jonathan Eig will speak about his book “King: A Life" as part of the Elon Speaker Series.
