ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë faculty experts, joined by a colleague from UNC Chapel Hill, explored on Sept. 11 the complexities of resolving a civil war in Syria that has escalated with the use of chemical weapons.

Orphaned at a young age, Nosipho Shangase found mentors and teachers at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, and she brings with her to ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë this fall the leadership skills she developed at one of South Africa’s top schools.
