Longtime ����app�ٷ���վ�� supporters Bob and Barbara Byrd are including ����app�ٷ���վ�� in their estate plans to support the Department of Music, Elon Academy and the “It Takes a Village” Project.

Amy and Rob Heinrich P’22 of Grayslake, Illinois, create life-changing opportunities for ‘tough and tenacious’ students in the Odyssey Program. Their gift is counted toward the Elon LEADS Campaign.

The "It Takes a Village" Project's fall semester concluded with a food-themed lesson hosted by Elon Dining and Harvest Table Culinary Group.

The project will conclude for the year with a hands-on learning event held in partnership with Harvest Table Culinary Group on Dec. 4 in Alumni Gym.

A partnership between ����app�ٷ���վ��’s It Takes a Village Project and the Harvest Table Culinary Group has included an innovative approach that incorporates cooking into helping students understand mathematical concepts.

Cindy Fair, Tony Crider, Haya Ajjan and Jean Rattigan-Rohr shared their innovative scholarship, insights into teaching and approaches to community engagement at Elon Talks: Faculty Voices.

From July 9-20, ����app�ٷ���վ�� is hosting 176 Alamance-Burlington School System students at Summer in the Village, a summer academic preparedness and enrichment program of Elon's It Takes a Village Project. 

Among those volunteering with the Village project this semester — members of Elon's men's and women's basketball teams. 

����app�ٷ���վ��'s "It Takes a Village" Project began in 2008 with Elon education students providing after-school reading assistance to 16 third-graders. 

What began as a personal bookmobile project is now receiving rave reviews for its impact on the education of young readers during summer vacation.
