The men and women who oversee Project Pericles at college campuses around the United States met at ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë Nov. 15-16 for an annual conference that allowed them to exchange best practices for a national program that strives to mold students into socially responsible global citizens.

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë junior Tara Nager received the "Volunteer of the Year" Award from the Salvation Army's Boys & Girls Clubs of Burlington during the organization's recent Steak & Steak Dinner.

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë senior Teri Horn has received the North Carolina Campus Compact’s fifth annual Community Impact Student Award for making significant, innovative contributions to her campus’ efforts to address local community needs. Horn was one of 34 college students across the state to receive the honor.
