Incoming students at the ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë School of Law learned more about their new city, and each other, as they volunteered their time for local charities on Aug. 9 as part of the second annual "Elon Law Reaches Out" program.

Elon 1L students traveled to the main university campus Aug. 14 for a daylong series of activities related to orientation.

The message was simple: “You complete us.” The ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë School of Law welcomed its third class Aug. 7 with a day of orientation activities – faculty introductions, book purchases, formal portraits – for a group that brings the school to full capacity.

The Carolina Peacemaker, a Greensboro newspaper and member of the BlackPressUSA Network, profiled ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë School of Law Interim Dean George Johnson in an Aug. 6 article. The story by reporter Benjamin Fair details Johnson's distinguished career and his plans for leading the law school.

After nearly a decade as a law librarian for public services at Fordham University’s law school, Kathleen McLeod comes to Elon with a teaching background in advanced legal research, having also served there as an adjunct professor.

Registration for first-year Elon Law students begins Aug. 7, with orientation activities beginning on Friday, Aug. 8.
