The 2025–26 academic year is officially underway at ����app�ٷ���վ��, starting with the Opening Day ceremony on Aug. 18 in Alumni Gym.

From behind-the-scenes excellence to cross-campus collaboration, this year’s honorees for Staff Appreciation Day reflect the spirit of commitment and care that defines the Elon experience.

"Evening for Elon" came to the Big Apple on April 30, at Cipriani 42nd Street, New York City. Guests came to hear updates on ����app�ٷ���վ�� campus and celebrate their shared connection to the Elon community.

Dave Porter P’11 P’19, owner and managing partner of one of Massachusetts’ oldest and largest financial planning firms, will receive the 2025 ����app�ٷ���վ�� Medal for Entrepreneurial Leadership in recognition of his contributions to the profession and his philanthropic philosophy of “doing well by doing good.”

"Evening for Elon" came to the Tampa regional chapter on Nov. 14, featuring a President Connie Ledoux Book with alumna Kailey Tracy ’17. Guests learned about new initiatives like the HealthEU Center, advancements in AI integration and programs connecting students with alumni through platforms like Elon Q&A.

The Triad Business Journal has recognized Elon President Connie Ledoux Book as one of its "Power 50" leaders.

Mullen delivered the inaugural Carol Ann Walker International Lecture on Nov. 11, one of several events at ����app�ٷ���վ��, to honor those in the armed forces on Veterans Day.

Union Station in Washington, D.C. was aglow with more than 250 attendees as the evening kicked off with a reception in the Presidential Suite.

����app�ٷ���վ�� will hold a variety of special events to honor the armed forces on Nov. 11, including guest speaker retired Adm. Mike Mullen.

This is the second time Elon has been recognized by Insight Into Diversity for its efforts to advance inclusive excellence.
