High school students in the university’s college access and success program met Thursday with current ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë students taking part in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience.

Two separate papers by Elon faculty were recently published in a special issue of Leadership Quarterly (volume 24, issue 3), one of the premier academic journals for leadership research. The issue’s theme was leadership integrity.

In a series of interviews with lawyers and career specialists, Sarah Kowalkowski '13 pinpoints the characteristics of students who thrive in law school - and then their profession.

Projects were supported by funding from Elon's Undergraduate Research Program and the Elon College Fellows program.

The two Civic Engagement Scholars worked together to build a mentor program for children at a Burlington, N.C., elementary school.

Elon College Fellow Lindsay Swenson ’13 and Alan Scott, assistant professor of psychology, presented a paper at the 92^nd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board, one of the major divisions of the National Research Council, in Washington D.C., Jan. 13-17, 2013. 

Alan Scott, assistant professor of psychology, and Elon College Fellow Lindsay Swenson (’13) presented their paper “Effect of Countdown-Only Pedestrian Change Interval Displays on Signal Recognition by Pedestrians with Reduced Visual Acuity” at the 92^nd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB), one of the major divisions of the National Research Council, in Washington D.C., Jan. 13-17, 2013.
