Six members of the Class of 2019 participated in a signing ceremony in Clohan Theatre to formalize their participation in two service-year programs offered by ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë in partnership with local organizations. Six fellows who have completed their year of service were also recognized. 

Carroll's new book, "Narkomania: Drugs, HIV, and Citizenship in Ukraine," has been released from Cornell University Press.

The university's top undergraduate research award comes with $20,000 to support and celebrate academic and creative achivements. 

Fair, professor of public health studies and human service studies and Watts/Thompson Professor, is one of eight Elon faculty members featured this year in "Passionately Curious," the annual ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë President's Report. 

Professor Fair and the public health major, alongside cancer advocate Megan-Claire Chase, presented their work at the American Psychosocial Oncology Society conference in Atlanta on Feb. 28, and the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine conference in Washington, D.C., on March 7.

Shariq Ali ’20, Ashley Jutras ’20 and Styrling Rohr ’19 have received Critical Language Scholarships from the federal government to study foreign languages deemed critical to U.S. diplomacy and outreach.  

Stephanie Ntim ‘19 is among the recipients of the Lumen Prize, which provides selected students with a scholarship and celebrates their academic and creative accomplishments.
