Named for retired university physician Robert “Bob” Ellington, a new facility on South Campus integrates university staff dedicated to health and wellness with medical practitioners from Alamance Regional Medical Center and Cone Health.

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë is introducing a new car-sharing program to campus this fall, which gives students, faculty and staff an alternative to having their own vehicles on campus.

Students who receive packages through the mail will be alerted via email rather than through notes in their campus mailboxes.

Several events are planned throughout the weekend of Aug. 23-26 as ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë welcomes students and families in the Class of 2017.

For the past two years, the ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë community has donated thousands of needed school supplies to children classified as homeless.

New students participated in the final First-Year Summer Experience program on campus with activities centered around Elon values and campus culture.

Elon has partnered with Alamance Regional Medical Center and Cone Health to provide student health services staffing in a South Campus facility that doubles space for health services, counseling services and health promotions.

Despite a busy schedule, the assistant vice president for student life and associate dean of students, who always makes time for others, is the recipient of the 2013 Ward Family Excellence in Mentoring Award.

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë employees on May 15 celebrated teaching, scholarship, service and mentoring at a program in Alumni Gym.
