Students in the Elon Academy, the university's college access and success program for academically promising high school students, spent Tuesday afternoon learning about career opportunities from local professionals. 

The ranking by Zippia, a career services website, draws upon federal data in rating Elon among the top universities in the country for employment 10 years after they first enrolled. 

Keller and Vandruff are among the 50 people selected nationwide for the program and will intern this summer at media and entertainment firms in southern California.

Six members of the Class of 2019 participated in a signing ceremony in Clohan Theatre to formalize their participation in two service-year programs offered by ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë in partnership with local organizations. Six fellows who have completed their year of service were also recognized. 

SPDC welcomes Kiera O'Donnell and Alison Doherty to the SPDC team of professionals.
