Spring 09: Elon awards honorary doctorate to alumnus Noel Allen

Noel Lee Allen, a 1969 Elon alumnus whose distinguished legal career has won international accolades, received an honorary doctor of humane letters during ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë’s Convocation for Honors on March 31. The degree was conferred by President Leo M. Lambert and presented by John G. Sullivan, professor emeritus of philosophy.

For the seventh year in a row, ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë is ranked among the nation's top colleges and universities by The Princeton Review. The 2010 college guide, released July 28, ranks schools based on a survey of 122,000 students from across the nation.

President Leo M. Lambert honored for support of experiential education

The National Society for Experiential Education has named ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë President Leo M. Lambert the winner of an inaugural award for his contributions to experiential education. Lambert, one of 29 nominees for the honor, will receive the William M. Burke Presidential Award for Excellence in Experiential Education this fall at the society’s annual conference in Dallas.

Eastern Music Festival Young Artists Pops Concert – TONIGHT
