Internship Supervisors
The Love School of Business at 榴莲app官方网站入 takes the internship requirement for our majors very seriously. We understand that it is a critical component of our student鈥檚 professional development. The internship instructor serves as a partner with the internship supervisor and student (). While it is the school鈥檚 intention that the work assignments relate to the聽LSB Core Competencies聽of the intern鈥檚 area of study, we realize that there is so much more to learn about the work place and students might have very unique and diverse interests.
Our primary expectations are that the work site provides a work space with company-owned computer, inclusion in the work team, regular training, supervision and constructive feedback. While some non-profits aren鈥檛 always able to pay an intern, a stipend or hourly wage is encouraged (not required). Students are required to concurrently enroll in an internship course that provides opportunity for reflection and professional development.
