Many of â€‹Alamance County’s academically gifted students gathered at ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë for continued learning.

 

The associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program co-authored the article in the journal Computers & Education.

Five higher ed leaders with ties to ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë have collaborated to write about best practices in colleges and universities.

The funding from Oak Foundation will support a growing program that benefits struggling young readers in Alamance County.

The one-hour school receptions allowed students to introduce parents to faculty mentors, laugh with friends and celebrate personal transformation.

 

Twenty-five rising sophomores from Alamance County high schools have been selected to join the 10th class of the college access and success program for academically talented students.

The chapter by the associate professor of health and human performance is included in "Exploring Teachers in Fiction and Film: Saviors, Scapegoats and Schoolmarms," which was published in April.

President Emeritus Earl J. Danieley, who has given Elon 70 years of service, is among 19 faculty and staff members retiring this year.

The school hosted its annual awards ceremony on May 5 to recognize high achievement from students and faculty during the past academic year.

 

Jeffrey Carpenter, assistant professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, published the article in the journal Educational Leadership.
