Assistant professor of education publishes article in the peer-reviewed journal Social Studies and the Young Learner.  

Heidi Hollingsworth, Mary Knight-McKenna and Ren Bryan, co-authored an article on policy and advocacy content in early childhood personnel preparation.

The assistant professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program co-authored the article in the journal Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education.

Dr. Carol Smith, Associate Professor of Health and Human Performance receives Honor Award for her meritorius contributions to the fields of physical education, health education, recreation and dance.

The assistant professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program was involved in two different presentations at the AACTE Annual Meeting in Las Vegas from Feb. 22-24, 2016.

Aaron S. Marks, Maynard National Teaching Fellow, presented at the Phi Alpha Theta Biennial National History Conference in January.

The associate professor of education from East Carolina University will oversee an ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë school with 22 full-time faculty members and five full-time faculty members from Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences, who work with teacher education programs.

ÁñÁ«app¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾Èë and the (Burlington, N.C.) Times-News will hold the fourth and final "Community Connections" panel discussion of the 2015-16 academic year on March 7 from 7-8:15 p.m. in McKinnon Hall of the Moseley Center.
