Explore a range of exciting student-made projects, from a DIY claw game and a made-from-scratch boombox to a robot hand that understands sign language, furniture, clothing, and A LOT more.

Also, see the latest progress of the 2025 Elon Kickboxers. These studentsÌýhave spent the spring semester making significant progress on a big idea.

Free Ice Cream!

Elon Dining will be making ice cream using liquid nitrogen! Take a break from the excitement of Maker Takeover and partake in a yummy, sweet treat.

Play student-made versions of Connect 4 (with LEDs!) and a giant Operation game built for two.

 

Live Screen Printing Demo

Learn about the screen printing process and watch as Elon Kickbox student Remy Beckman screen prints a design onto t-shirts during Takeover.

 

Chainmail History & Craft

See how chainmail is made – the flexible armor of interlocking metal rings, used historically for protection in battle. Today, it’s popular in reenactments, cosplay, jewelry, and safety gear.

 

Electronics in Action!
